COMMUNITY DAY
COMMUNITY DAY
When: Sun, Sept. 20th, 2026 2-4PM
Where: Fairmont El Cerrito Library Parking Lot
What: A fun, casual day for new and returning families to gather. Highlights include a PTA booth with volunteer training and merch sales, book swap, bike/scooter course, karaoke, face painting, and a bake sale!
WALK-A-THON/FUN RUN

When: Fri, Oct. 2nd, 2026 8:30AM-2:40PM
Where: Fairmont Field
What: Our big annual fundraiser where students make individual pledge pages and run laps around the field to raise money for our PTA education and enrichment programming!
FALL FESTIVAL
FALL FESTIVAL
When: Sat, Oct 17th, 2026 1-4pm
Where: Fairmont black top. Enter through the gate at the Lexington circle.
What: A fall-themed community event that includes apple baking content, karaoke, craft stations, carnival games, pumpkin painting, costume swap and more! This event is free, but includes fundraising via carnival games tickets, food booths, and a bake sale.

What: Help raise money for enrichment opportunities not covered by the district by bidding on a variety of gifts, experiences, and gift cards donated by local businesses.

What: Celebrate Fairmont's cultural diversity with food, live performances, and more! Bring a dish to share that celebrates your culture and show off your traditional clothes!

When: Sun, May 23rd, 2027 12-3PM
Where: Lexington Circle and Eureka
What: A fabulous family block party open to our broader community with live music and performances by our students and school community, food & bake sale, scooter course, bubble fun, arts & crafts, face painting, firefighters, and more!
NATUREBRIDGE MARIN HEADLANDS 5th GRADE TRIP
NATUREBRIDGE MARIN HEADLANDS 5th GRADE TRIP
When: Mon-Wed, April 19-21st, 2027
What: All 5th graders get to spend three days at the Marin Headlands with NatureBridge. They hike the trails, explore marine science through hands-on activities, take part in environmental service projects, and build lasting connections through team-building adventures.

2026-2027 STAFF APPRECIATION BRUNCHES
On their assigned Friday, parents from each grade work together to contribute food and drinks to a staff appreciation brunch in the staff lounge. Look out for a sign-up email from your parent connector!
