HOW MUCH DOES THE PTA NEED TO FUNDRAISE?
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) fundraises to provide educational supports not covered by the district. Our fundraising goal for 2025-26 is $125,000. This breaks down to about $225/student to fund this year’s enrichment programs. These programs benefit all Fairmont students regardless of a family's ability to fundraise or donate.

We work hard to balance offering free community events with a few key fundraisers that support our school. Below are the ways families will be invited to help support our school.
Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser: We aim to raise the bulk of our fundraising from the fall Walk-A-Thon!
Carnival Game Wristbands: 6th grade families work together to create and run our carnival games at the Fall Festival
Food Sales & Bake Sales
@ Fall Festival: 5th grade families run the food booth & 6th grade families run the bake sale
@ Block Party: 4th grade families run the food booth & 6th grade families run the bake sale
Giving Tuesday: If your company donation matches, this is a particularly good time to give what you can as the year comes to an end.
Fairmont Fund: In the spring, depending on our progress toward the goal, we may make a direct ask to families to contribute what they can. Every contribution helps, whether it’s $5 or covering the annual cost of PTA educational and enrichment programming for one or more students.
Online Silent Auction: In the Spring, you'll have a chance to bid on items donated by local businesses. Online bidding is open to the public, so share the link far and wide!

Throughout the year, mention Fairmont while shopping at local restaurants on specific days/weeks and they'll donate a portion of your purchase back to the school! Here are some upcoming dates for 2025:
November 1st-15th: Five Little Monkeys Give Back Program: 15% back to Fairmont
In-store or online with code: FAIRMONT2025
November 8th: Xocolate Bar Fairmont Day Fundraiser: 15% back to Fairmont
November 16th - 22nd: Jenny K El Cerrito Rocks Fundraiser: 20% back to Fairmont
November 19th: Benchmark Pizza Fairmont Fundraiser: 15% back to Fairmont

Fairmont PTA partners with local restaurants and businesses for fundraising events! Join our email list to find out about upcoming dinner fundraising events. You dine at the participating restaurants on the scheduled night, and they donate a portion of their proceeds to Fairmont!
