The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) fundraises to provide educational supports not covered by the district. Our fundraising goal for 2025-26 is $125,000. This breaks down to about $225/student to fund this year’s enrichment programs. These programs benefit all Fairmont students regardless of a family's ability to fundraise or donate.
We work hard to balance offering free community events with a few key fundraisers that support our school. Below are the ways families will be invited to help support our school.
Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser: We aim to raise the bulk of our fundraising from the fall Walk-A-Thon!
Carnival Game Tickets: 6th grade families work together to create and run our carnival games at the Fall Festival
Food Sales & Bake Sales
@ Fall Festival: 5th grade families run the food booth
@ Block Party: 4th grade families run the food booth
Giving Tuesday: If your company donation matches, this is a particularly good time to give what you're able as the year comes to an end.
Fairmont Fund: Depending on our progress toward our goal, we may do a direct ask of parents in the Spring to donate what they are able, whether it's $5 toward our school goal or the cost of annual PTA educational and enrichment programming for one or more students.
Online Silent Auction: In the Spring, you'll have a chance to bid on items donated by local businesses. Online bidding is open to the public, so share the link far and wide!
