COVID-19 Safety and Testing
One of the many ways we can keep Fairmont staff, students, families, and our community healthy and safe is with regular COVID-19 testing. WCCUSD provides COVID-19 testing at Fairmont each Monday. You will need to register for an account and sign up for an appointment for your child prior to each Monday. Registration information can be found below.
Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests as of Jan 18, 2022. The tests are completely free. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days. Click here for more information and to place your order now.
All students, staff, and visitors at Fairmont will be required to wear an appropriate face covering both indoors and outdoors unless they have an approved exception for medical reasons.

West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) COVID-19 Dashboard
West Contra Costa Unified School District will report all confirmed positive COVID-19 cases among staff and students physically present at district facilities during their infectious period.
The infectious period begins two days before the onset of symptoms. If the case did not have symptoms, the infectious period is considered two days prior to the testing date.
Staff includes contractors, substitutes, and others working at district facilities.
What is Not Reported
The district will not report cases of students engaged in virtual school or staff working remotely, nor will it report cases that occur during holidays, travel, or other circumstances. Data may be incomplete depending on when the case was reported/confirmed and when contact tracing was completed.
